Oftentimes there is a deeper cause to depression and anxiety. Depression and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. To cope with these emotions, connection is key. Through counseling I can assist to find roots of these difficult emotions and we can join together to find a path to healing. I am trained in several evidence-based treatments for mood disorders, including CBT, ACT, DBT, ERP, and Motivational Interviewing.

I also provide comprehensive diagnostic assessments, including assessments for Autism, ADHD, mental health issues, and academic difficulties.

Working through traumatic experiences and traumatic stress can be a lonely and arduous process that requires trust, patience, and flexibility to work through. Big life events can be extremely difficult for a family system and can affect children on a deep and long lasting level. My goal in therapy is to bring your family closer together by assisting each family member in accepting and healing as well as assisting parents in how to support their children.

Challenging behaviors in childhood can stem from a variety of factors, including difficulty communicating, regulating emotions, concentrating, or connecting with others. I am certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), a family-based therapy for children with difficult-to-manage behaviors and can help use a naturalistic, child-led approach to help you manage childhood challenging behaviors in a variety of contexts.
